A few questions have been asked in regards to Monday night so let me just share some answers with everyone, just in case you are wondering the same thing:
1. Do I need to attend the kick-off meeting if I've already registered?
Yes, you need to attend the kick-off meeting if you have any students who have been registered or whom you plan to register for the fall semester. This is our one "make sure we are on the same page" parent meeting in which you find out all the specifics of the year, learn your child's exact voice hearing time, and the like. Besides that I have a fun surprise to share with you that I've been keeping a secret! So you don't want to miss that!
2. Is this meeting kid-friendly?
Yes, this meeting is most definitely kid-friendly. In fact, I expect that you will attend as a family. The kids like to catch up and well, honestly, it is just not worth the cost of a babysitter. So come one and come all. I will try to keep it as short as possible. I promise.
3. Do I need to bring anything to the meeting?
No, just yourselves, unless you are bringing a uniform to sell. If that is the case, make sure you have downloaded and attached a used uniform form (<--click here to download) to your uniform before bringing to the meeting.
4. Can I pay tuition on Monday night?
We would prefer that you wait to do that on Tuesday when your child(ren) come for their voice hearing. Trudie Melson (our CFO) will be set up to receive payments at that time.
5. How long will the meeting last?
My plan is to have us out of there by 8 p.m. ... 7:45 p.m. if I've had my sugar for the day and we start on time so get there early so can be done in a jiffy. ;)
6. If I have a friend who is interested in joining choir can they come too?
Most definitely. If you know someone that just wants to come to learn more about the choirs, invite them! What better way to learn what we are all about. Who knows, they just might join!
I think that is it. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to call or write. If not, I'll see you on Monday night in the Grace United Methodist Church Sanctuary at 6:59 p.m.
