Car Wash is THIS Saturday
Next Saturday (11/2) is the Car Wash Fundraiser at Mardels in Edmond (3300 S. Boulevard aka southeast corner of SE 33rd and Boulevard). The fundraiser will be from 10:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. All students wishing to participate will need to bring towels for drying, sponges, buckets and posterboard signs advertising the car wash. Suggested saying for the car wash signs: "Homeschool Choir Car Wash" or something like that. Students should expect to stay the entire time so please bring a sack lunch and a drink. This is an optional fundraiser for all students however all Music Experience and/or Principio students will need to have an adult present with them at all times. All funds raised will be split evenly between all student participants' choir accounts. All funds raised can be used toward tour costs, choir fest fees, or tuition. If you are planning on attending, please send me an email so that I know to except you. Also, plan now to dress in your choir shirts and/or hoodies. Meet on the north side of the building near the dog park fence. Finally, start spreading the news to your homeschool friends and coops. We'd love to have a big turnout not only for the fundraiser but to draw attention to what an incredible group we are!
Monthly Tuition Due Next Week
Just a friendly reminder that monthly tuition is due next week. Trudi Melson will be available at the information desk from 9:45 a.m to 10:45 a.m for your convenience or you may also make your payment via our website.
The Farmer and the Cowboy Should Be Friends Day
Tuesday, November 12th is another dress up day and this time students are invited to dress up like a farmer or a cowboy. Remember, dress up days are completely optional, and are purely a fun activity for the choirs. Do not feel obligated to participate but we look forward to seeing how you dress if you do!
One Day Tour
I am still looking for parent sponsors for the Illuminati and Bella Voce One Day Tour on November 8th. If you would be willing to help in this way, please email me ASAP. Expectations of sponsors include riding the bus with the students, staying with a group of students during our visit to Penn Square Mall, and taking roll of your assigned group during every bus load. As far as more information on the One Day Tour, you can read all about it from my original post here.
