PLEASE READ: Can You Help?

Hope you are enjoying your Christmas break!  I just wanted to give you an update on a dear choir family in hopes that you can help.  I will be sending out more about the Choir Fest and 2014 enrollment soon but in the meantime, please take the time to read below and share how you can.  Thank you!

Can You Help?

One of our board members, Ann Hankins, learned just a few weeks ago that she has stage 4 ovarian cancer.  She is already receiving chemo treatments and fighting this yucky disease with all she has and sporting a new long-haired wig to go with it. For those of you who don't know, Ann has volunteered hours and hours to the choir serving as board treasurer and planner of the Nashville trip in 2012-2013.  She has also donated time and money in so many countless other ways I can't even keep track of it all.  That said, now's the time in which she could use our help and here are a few ways you can...
  • You can sign up to bring her family a meal via the Meal Train if you like to share in that way.  Bear in mind everything you provide needs to be cooked (nothing raw...not even veggies) and sugar is a no-no.
  • You can follow Ann's story and sign her guestbook on the CaringBridge.
  • Donate funds to help offset the cost of cancer via Fundrazr.
I'm sure there will be more ways to help in the future but this would be a great start, especially during this normally very festive season.  Thank you for all you do to uphold your fellow choir families.  See you in January.
