Just a reminder NEXT Saturday, March 8th, is the Oklahoma Homeschool Choral Fest. One more time here is the schedule for the day. Students attending the Choral Experience should plan on arriving at the NORTHWEST entrance of the church at 8:40 a.m. to check in for the Choral Experience.
ALL Bella Voce and Illuminati should check in with Mrs. Lopez or myself by the Solo and Ensemble Check-In Table which will be by the north covered entrance. DO NOT check in at the check-in table for your ensemble. Mrs. Lopez and Mrs. Gossen will do that. ONLY check in at the check-in table for your solo, if applicable.
Soloists, plan on arriving at least 20 minutes before your performance time so that you have time to warm-up in one of the warm-up rooms, check-in, and find your contest room.
Ensembles, you should plan on arriving at the following times:
Bella Voce Treble Ensemble--12:25 p.m.
Bella Voce Mixed Ensemble--1:00 p.m.
Illuminati Treble Ensemble 1 (Cantate Hodie!)--12:30 p.m.
Illuminati Treble Ensemble 2 (Crawdad Hole)--12:30 p.m.
For Solo and Ensemble Contest--Your formal Attire.
For Choral Experience--Jeans and your choir shirts. You will be given a festival shirt to wear for the concert.

Monthly Tuition Due Next Week and a CFO Update
Just a friendly reminder for those of you on the monthly payment plan, March tuition is due next Tuesday. Trudi Melson will be available from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. to take your payment or you may pay online.
By the way, this is just a reminder--Trudi's hours are technically ONLY from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. so please make every effort to see her during this time if possible. Yes, she often stays longer and comes earlier because she too has students in the choir but know that outside this time she is just a choir mom donating her time for you. So, if you could honor her "office hours" it would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and do give her a thank you for all the extra time she's been putting in this year. Organizing us financially has been no easy task I can assure you and she's doing a great job.
Reformation Doxology Rehearsal Tracks
For all Principio, Illuminati, and Bella Voce Students--Mrs. Lopez arranged a small group to sing the Reformation Doxology and record it. As such we now have rehearsal tracks to help us learn our group piece for the Spring concert. This is going to be fun! I can't wait!
Note: Memo 2 is the Tenor Line, Memo 3 is the Bass Line, and Memo 4 are the Soprano and Alto Lines
Heads Up--The Heartland Festival is Here
The Heartland Festival is just around the corner and this year Illuminati, Bella Voce, and Bravo! will all be competing. The contest is on Saturday, April 12th from approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be held at an Oklahoma City area high school (TBA). We will follow the contest with a bus ride to a local restaurant and end the day at Frontier City as a celebration for a year well-done. The cost is $65 per student and is due on Tuesday, April 1st (except for Bravo! students whose payment is covered via their monthly tuition). All students are expected to attend this local contest. More information including a detailed itinerary and the opportunity to sign up for parent sponsors will be coming soon.
OCHEC Talent Contest
For those of you interested, this year OCHEC is offering a Talent Contest during family night at the Convention this year. You can learn more information about it here. Keep in mind the deadline is Friday so you will have to act fast but it definitely looks like a fun opportunity.
