Choir News--Heartland Festival Update

A final update in preparation for those attending the Heartland Festival on Saturday.  Everything in BOLD is new information so please take note.

Attire:  Blue jeans and choir shirts.

Can students change clothes after their performance and wear something different at Frontier City?  Students must wear their choir shirts all day.  However, if the weather is warm, they may switch to appropriate length shorts for Frontier City.  As our handbook says, if your fingers placed down your side can touch bare skin, it's too short.

Parents and other family are WELCOME to come watch the performances at UCO.  The contest is being held on the THIRD FLOOR in Ballroom C of the NIGH CENTER.  For those of you unfamiliar with UCO, this is the building that is at the tip of the U when you turn off 2nd street at the main entrance.  Parking is available to the right of the Nigh Center, but bring a few dollars as you may have to pay for parking.
8:00 a.m.   Meet at First Christian Church, Edmond (215 N. Boulevard, Edmond) and warm-up.

To enter the church use the passcode 4396#.

Sponsors:  Students should give YOU their permission slip to leave early.  If you do not have a signed permission from a parent they should NOT leave your side.  At the end of the day, please give all slips gathered to your director.  Thanks!

There is a good chance for rain on Saturday. The Heartland Festival does NOT cancel due to weather conditions. That said, please keep your phones handy throughout the day in case we need to arrange for an early pickup in the afternoon. Thanks!

If you have not paid for the Heartland Festival yet, you can do so here. We must have all payments BEFORE Saturday to participate. Thanks!
