You do not have to register for the convention to help out at the information booth, and this is a great opportunity for you to show your excitement and support of COHC to your friends!
At the booth there will be pictures of the choirs, some flyers, and an information sign up sheet. Please encourage all interested to take a flyer (or two to share with friends) and sign the information sheet (this is NOT a registration form) for us to send an email when registration is open. That's it.
You are welcome to the snack tray when it comes around (yes there are incentives for working this table --"wink, wink") and even use a pass for up to the hour after your assigned time to look around the floor (if you are not already attending convention). You just have to return your badge to the table before the next shift starts.
Last year we learned that IF you say you are to work a booth they would let you in without a badge. HOWEVER, you MUST have a booth badge on while at the booth (they will be at the booth). AND, should they be more strict about the badges and not let you in the exhibit hall without one, you can contact Cara Segelquist (405-623-0732) or Kathy Gossen (405-833-642) who will have an extra pass should you need one to get in. Once called they will come meet you at the exhibit hall entrance. Thus please plan on arriving 10 minutes before your assigned time JUST IN CASE.
This year we need TWO volunteers for every hour the convention is open. So yes, you won't be alone!
Can students be in the booth with you? YES! In fact, I encourage it! They just CANNOT be in the both WITHOUT YOU. Having students in the booth would be great! New students often feel so much more comfortable talking with someone their own age anyway.

May 9--End of the Year Potluck & Talent Show--Sign up to bring items for the potluck or enter in our first talent show. Skits, piano pieces, singing, dancing, gymnastics, jokes and more...they are all welcome!
