ELIZABETH LOPEZ has been conducting with the Central Oklahoma Homeschool Choirs since the Fall of 2013.  She has directed Music Experience ('13-'14), Bella Voce ('13-present), and served as the Executive Director from Summer 2015 until Spring 2017.  Elizabeth has a BM - Vocal Performance from Oklahoma Baptist University and has used her educational background by serving in a various music, administrative, and ministry roles in Oklahoma, Alabama, as well as South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Elizabeth resides with her husband and daughter in Edmond, Oklahoma, where she teaches private vocal and piano lessons.            

JOY CAVETT has had much experience with enhancing a child's overall development through music via Music with Joy with the Metropolitan Library System and HeadStart programs as well as private school instruction.   She is both Kodaly and Kindermusik certified and holds a degree from Oklahoma City University in Vocal Performance.  For this third year with the choirs, Joy teaches Music Experience at our Edmond and OKC location, Illuminati in Edmond, and Bella Voce in Oklahoma City.

KAYLA RUSSELL moved to Oklahoma from Texas, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Music (voice) with teacher certification from Lamar University.  She taught elementary music and high school choir prior to motherhood. She is an active member of the Texas Music Educator’s Association. She also teaches elementary music to homeschool students in her private studio and will be teaching Music Experience and Bella Voce in Norman.
KATE GEESAMAN is originally from Illinois where she earned her Bachelor of Music Education with Vocal Concentration Degree from Illinois Wesleyan University. After enjoying six years teaching music in the public schools she spent the next 10 years at home raising and homeschooling her four boys while teaching private piano and voice as well as various music classes. This is Kate's 2nd year at COHC and she will be teaching one of two Music Experience classes at Edmond.

KATHY GOSSEN, has taught 16 years in both public and private settings and served in leadership with Oklahoma Music Educators Association. She has a Bachelor's in Music Education with a Piano Emphasis from Oklahoma Baptist University and a Masters in Music Education with an Emphasis in Kodaly from the University of Oklahoma. She is an author, a homeschool blogger at CornerstoneConfessions.Com, and homeschool mom of three precious little girls. Kathy has been with the choirs for 9 years, serving in multiple capacities, and is currently COHC's Interim Executive Director and teacher of Principio in Edmond.

PAMELA MATLICK moved to Oklahoma from Kentucky where she received her Bachlors in Music Education from Eastern Kentucky University and her Masters from Murray State University. She taught vocal music in Norman for twenty six years and under her direction the choirs received numerous Sweepstakes and Superior Ratings. For more than a decade she has served as a vocal adjudicator throughout Oklahoma for chorus, ensembles and soloists. She enjoys singing in her church choir and keeping up with her two grandsons.  This is Pamela's fourth year with COHC, and she will be directing the Principio and Illuminati choirs at Norman and OKC.

ROSA MCCROSKEY, our Oklahoma City location accompanist for four years, holds a Piano Performance degree from Southern Nazarene University. She began teaching private piano at the age of 15 and continues to teach in her home in the Bethany area.  Rosa and her husband, Bob, spent 37 years as missionaries in Indonesia where they founded a theological seminary and Rosa taught choir, sight-singing, piano, organ, church music and Inductive Bible Study. She was also very involved in directing choirs, producing choir programs and training worship leaders and worship teams. She is a member of Music Teachers National Association, Oklahoma Music Teachers Association, and Central Oklahoma Music Teachers Association. Rosa will be primarily stationed at the OKC location.

EMMA GEE is a Classically-trained pianist, accompanist, and private piano instructor in Edmond. She holds a B.M.A. in Piano as well as an M.M. in Piano Performance, and she currently maintains a private piano studio at Lakeside Piano Studios. Feeling called to piano at a young age, Emma believes that music is a gift, and she teaches to help share that gift with others. She is a member of COMTA, OMTA, MTNA, and the Music Development Program. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband. This is her second year with COHC as the Edmond location accompanist.

LAURA STOABS earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and then her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While in Law School, Laura passed the State's Certified Public Accountant Exam. After graduation from Law School, Laura was offered a job with the "Big Six" accounting firm of KPMG, LLP at their Oklahoma City office working in their Tax Exempt Organizations Department. In 1999, Laura left KPMG to become the Director of Operations and Finance for the National Reining Horse Association in Oklahoma City. While working at NRHA, Laura partnered with an Estate Planning Attorney in Edmond, Oklahoma. In 2002, Laura branched out on her own to become a solo practitioner with a referral only Estate Planning practice. This solo practice also allows Laura time to utilized her tax/accounting background in assisting churches and other nonprofit organizations with accounting and legal services. Laura and her husband, Dusty, have had the privilege to homeschool their three children for the last thirteen years.  This is Laura's second year as our CFO.
